Portland Tillamook Preschool provides a play-based curriculum, designed to nurture your child’s social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development. We welcome and encourage families of all backgrounds and abilities, and our curriculum reflects this anti-bias philosophy. At Tillamook, children practice respecting themselves and others, making choices, and resolving conflicts in non-violent ways.

Multi-age program

Tillamook Preschool offers a mixed-age program for children ages 2 3/4 to 5 years. Our teacher is enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the multi-age approach. Education researchers concur that mixing ages is a highly effective way for children to learn and play together. With the multi-age program, parents choose from two attendance options: Two days (Tuesdays and Thursdays) or Three days (Mondays-Wednesdays-Fridays).
